Eric and Dylan had been planning this for a long time. Go to Columbine Shooting.com and read up on all of it. They were full of hatred and they hated the world. They felt they were bullied and all that. Noone is to blame except them 2. They said they wanted to leave a mark in the world. Well, they did. I hope for their souls they are resting in peace. Cant blame the music, movies, video games or nothing but those 2 boys. THEY SNAPPED just like the guy that murdered all those people on April 16th at VT.People are responsible for everything they do. If they are in their right minds they go after the person who is bullying them and not innocent people.

Reply:Marilyn Manson's music didn't make those kids pull the triggers. If listening to the music was all it took, well, I'd be doing some mass murders right now. I happen to like that band and have for a long time (before they "hit it big"). You think Marilyn Manson is a lunatic, but have you ever heard him in an interview? The guy is pretty dang smart. What he does with his band is done for shock factor. Shock factor = greater sales. He's a brilliant marketing guy. He knows how to sell records. That is the only thing he's guilty of.

Reply:People are responsible for their own actions! Everyone has to stop trying to find someone else to blame for when things go wrong. So what if they listened to marilyn manson? What if they had listened to Neil Diamond and still done the shooting? I listened to some twisted stuff when I was young, and I never had a thought of doing anyone in because of it. Those were just two depressed, deranged individuals.

Reply:I think all people should be responsible for their own actions. Everyone makes his or her own decisions. Blaming some one else for your actions is just plain stupid. Just because the kids that killed so many at columbine listened to Marilyn Manson songs is no reason to blame Marilyn Manson. That is the same as blaming the state or country for requiring kids to go to school. If we did not make kids go to school than they would not have killed others. I wish people would just take responsibility for thier own decisions and quit blaming every one else.
Reply:Personally, I don't care for his music. So, like any rational person, I just don't listen to it. Anyone who is going to take advice on what to do with their lives from music, anyone's music, has problems to begin with. You can't blame the music because people are messed up. Harris and Klebold would have done it no matter what they listened to, they were screwed up people.

Everyone is responsible for his or her own actions. Life is all about choices - the only thing you don't get to choose is whether you die at the end. The Columbine shooters made their own choices.
