How do you convince your parents to let you get an airsoft gun?

Im 16 and i live in Md. My dad does not care if i buy an airsoft gun, however my mom is anti-gun and i feel she says i cant get a gun just so she can prove a point. I've made a slideshow and gone to a place and rented a 300 fps gun and played CQB one night. Also she just let me get GTA 4 and thinks i will go Columbine if i get an airsoft gun.Also what are Md Airsoft Laws???

How do you convince your parents to let you get an airsoft gun?
Here are my 3 pointers......





First, I would recommend attending a hunter or gun safety course in your area (Attend with your dad). This will prove that you are serious about being safe, and you might even learn a thing or two about gun safety...which is never a bad thing.

Finally, get good eye/face protection and wear it whenever you are using an airsoft gun (rented or otherwise). Your eyes are something you need to protect.





Other ideas, save up the money. Put a part of your money in savings (maybe 25% and the other 75% goes towards the gun). This will show you are responsible with handling money.





The worst thing you can do is argue with them. The more difficult you get, the more steadfast your parents are going to be in their decision.
