There are only a few columbines that are true to seed. Most are hybridized varieties. If you are wanting to propagate columbines you can do so by root division. For stronger larger plants I recommend deadheading after flowering.
Reply:I like white... but when you antisapate something other then what you expect, it can disappoint. More so when you pay for something %26amp; you don't get it. Sounds like someone at the columbine factory was asleep at the wheel %26amp; mis labled your babies? Think about that poor lady who ordered all white %26amp; got a rainbow surprise.

I have no idea who you got your plants from, but you really should at least let them know of the mistake. Mistakes like yours are becoming the norm in the flower industry %26amp; if folks like you don't speak up, it will continue to be a problem. You didn't get what you paid for %26amp; they should know of your dissapointment.

It's true about us men %26amp; never asking for directions. But short me on my plant order %26amp; look out. Pitty the poor clerk who gets in my way.

You should let them know.
Reply:if they were seedlings and they self seeded the dominate colour gene took over during seed development after pollination. if seed from a bought packet u were ripped off
