I can think of a few reasons. They are dumb and want attention, they feel it will vindicate their "pain" in some way or they are bored and have nothing else to do. In other words, pointless reasons that can be resolved in other ways!
Why do people shoot up schools for no reason like the columbine shooting, Virginia tech or other little ones?
for most people, it's because they never fit in, they were the outcasts that everybody treated like dirt in school.
Reply:To be honest, I think it is the students that are being bullied that is doing most of it. They feel they have no other way to stop this bullying. This is my number one reason for wanting schools to use uniforms, there are so many children that can not afford designer clothing and they are picked on by what they are wearing, not by the person inside them.

Reply:Because they are kids with emotional problems from homes where they don't feel loved or wanted. They have social issues at school because violence doesn't just come when you hit someone. It is bullying and isolating others...attacking them for who they are and the things about them that are different from societies or a groups idea of what is "ideal" or "cool" to be. It is because they are raised on TV that repeatedly offers the view that it is cool to shoot and kill others that you call yourself not liking. It is because this is a prozac nation in denial that even in white suburbia kids are screwed up just like every where else because they are no better than anyone else. The same crap that screws up the poor screws up the rich and the only difference is that money hides a lot, yet cures nothing.

Reply:according to tom cruise theres no such thing as a chemical imbalance....soo the reason is, to tell you the truth i have no idea.
