Does anyone remember Columbine?

It was April 20th, 1999 so many people died there, does any one really remember the pain of that day?

Does anyone remember Columbine?
I still remember it .. I live in the town that the Westside Shootings took place in about 5 years ago.. I was a sub teacher at that school. I remember thinking" this doesn't happen here..it happens everywhere else..not here"... I grabbed my son that afternoon and hugged him and didn't want to let go...I remember panicking everyday if the bus was late bringing him home or dreading turning on the TV to hear that "it might have happened at his school".. who ever would have thought that you send your kids to school and they never come home...the 1 place they are supposed to be safe..
Reply:sure do .
Reply:Hey, do you actually know how many people lost their lives ?

I am not being smart, I just can not remember..

I do know that it could have been much worse.

Over in either France, or, Germany they had the same thing happen and I think that 27 people got killed.

Look how many got Killed in Irac when the Muslims blew up a school.

I think that there was 32 killed there.

In India, 63 got killed the same way.

It is bad, but, I do not think that any person or group of people are going to stop something like that from happening.

Those people that caused such tragic things were just sick..
Reply:It sticks with me. I can't help but feel sorry for everyone who lost a loved one. I couldn't go through with it. So bless them
Reply:Yes as a teacher, it bothered me a great deal. I also had a daughter starting high school then so we discussed it together.
Reply:Who DOESN'T remember that horrible day?
Reply:How can anyone forget.
Reply:How could I forget? It was on the news for months, my school introduced dozens of outright stupid rules that banned everything from black clothing to protractors, and my parents got rid of my copy of Doom.
Reply:Yes, A terrible day. Will never forget and hope it stops happening.
Reply:I do. Very sad that so many young lives were lost in such a senseless act.
