I don't I mean how can he be responsible for that? It's like he said...and I am paraphrasing 'At the time the president was dropping bombs on other countries. Now who is a bigger influence, the president or Marilyn Manson'

It was the kids' fault for the massacre because they are the ones who committed the crime. But the parents completely assume that it was other people's fault, like Marilyn Manson, that influenced their kids to take part in this act, so the American parents did what they do best; they sued Marilyn Manson for influencing their kids. Of course the parents won, so they got alot of money from MM. But later on, they found out that the kids didn't even listen to MM. It's just not fair and it makes me upset how everyone wants to attack such a talented man!!! Ugh.

Reply:Manson is STRICTLY for entertainment purposes es only. Its fun to go to the different places that his music takes you. But if you let entertainment influence your life that much then you're obviously not old enough to be making your own decisions as far as music goes. That's why they still feel the need to put PARENTAL ADVISORY on Cd's! I love Marilyn Manson!
Reply:NO I DO NOT...just to be clear I have listen to his music before but I am not a super fan of his...I like some of his songs. So with that in mind this is what I think and have to say. I am sick of ppl blaming the ENTERTAINMENT Industry for shooting that go on..I mean I get that in that moment you want a SCAPEGOAT but to blame movies, games and music that is annoying to me. Where were the parents while their kids were doped up and having there kinds of thoughts? Not to mention teachers and friends? They are all to blame in all this...in a small way. But in the end I think that we all have be taught right from wrong and we all have morals and ethics. At least I hope. This could have been prevented if ppl just listened to them...that is not much to ask.

Reply:I grew up listening to Marilyn Manson, I never had the thought or feelings of shooting up my school. I don't care about the president either but I care about politics either......


I think it's just the kids being rejects and hating their life and taking it out on others who didn't deserve it.
Reply:I don't blame him at all!!! he was appalled by it and said he would never encourage it in an interview and he does not like guns but then several of his posters he is just sitting in a chair stroking a gun, but still, as you say, the president was bombing Kosovo at the time, (as showed in bowling for Columbine) people could get a free gun with a new bank account, you could buy bullets etc in with your groceries, it is too easy to blame people like Marilyn Manson. And yeah those kids had free will of thought and free reign to do anything, it was on them really.

Reply:It was the kids and maybe there parents. We really don't know what went on in there personal home life. I saw Marilyn Manson's interview with Michael Moore and he is a very intelligent man.
