Someone asked about celebrating April 20th? Isn't this the day that Columbine students died ?

It used to be that there was a Woodstock-like gathering on 4-20. This was before the Columbine tragedy. History was made by an egotistical maniac who killed millions for no better reason than their religious beliefs, which coincidently were those of his own mother. Who wants to celebrate these?

It should be a day of contemplation and mourning. It will be for many families who lost their kids to a senseless murdering spree.

Agreed Columbine was a senseless act, and definitely shouldn't be celebrated. Hitler's birthday is celebrated however, by white supremacist's worldwide. On a lighter note Apollo 16 landed on the moon as well on this date in 1972.
Reply:Yes, but most celebrate it because it's a national pot smoking day as well(It actually refers to the time more than the date, but any way, this was "established" way before the Columbine incident) .
Reply:It was tragic; but not holiday worthy.
Reply:yes its for mourning and sadness.
Reply:And it's Hitler's 119th birthday...
