Actually the guys involved in shooting had a hatred towards the society and school, as every serial killers have. They have learnt how to make bombs from some websites and they were eager to experiment it. (Also, its said that they hate blacks. A white girl mentioned that when she came across the gunners, one of the guy asked her to leave the class and shot a black guy who was also in that room...)
