We have 20,000 gun control laws in this country. have they done anything to stop crime since columbine?

or stop the thousands of kids in gangs under 18 from getting guns??? when are we going to finally see the only solution to crime is to prosecute criminals and without regard to their age, race or gender and allow people the right to protect themselves?

Consider all of the gun laws since JFK was shot and what happened in Australia when the guns were confiscated.

And the Russians demanded all guns be turned in prior to the collapse of Russia.
Reply:As long as lobbyists, big business, and our gov't. can profit off of the crime in the country, and the Bill of Rights give people the right to bear arms, things unfortunately, will not get much better. The most they'll do is get crime down enough to shut people up for the time being.
Reply:How can you have that many gun laws?Edit........the trouble is that right to bear arms was misinterpreted.
Reply:I think only the police should carry guns. And if someone else is spotted with a gun, give them 10 years in prison.

Less gun problems!
Reply:it does a little bit like the wanna be gangsters who want guns but cant buy them and then just give up growing up to diffrent ideas.

but for the most part. i should be able to cary a gun any where i go. and no one should say i cant have it.

except known criminals should not be allowed to have a gun lol.. if they are caught with one then they cut off their shooting fingers .. idk

I know they break laws anyway so whats the point huh?

ya and then bad guys will shoot cops even more because they really dont want to get busted with their gun... GREAT IDEA!
Reply:Because, really, the system will only be comprehensive when there are 20,001.
