The song is from Camper Van Beethoven's 1985 album "Telephone Free Landslide Victory". The band has never given an official story on the meaning of the song or of any message with it. Honestly, most of it seems like it was put together to not make sense (i.e. The line "Had a dream last night I wanted to lick your knees").
