Beefaroni for lunch - again!
What was the reason behind the Columbine school massacre?
A couple of depressed young teenagers who didn't feel like they belonged anywhere went nuts with some guns they found.
Teen angst at it's worst. =/
You need to watch "Bowling for Columbine" - it's a documentary on the Columbine shootings and guns in the USA done by Michael Moore. It's a really great film.

Reply:I think part of the problem is the bullying that's allowed in schools today. Bullying leads to anger and depression. Kids aren't aware of how much damage they can do by detroying someone's self esteem. I don't take the responsibility of the boys who did this lightly. Ultimately, they were the ones who commited this horrid act. But the common denominator in all of the school shootings was that the kids were bullied and made fun of by other kids.
Our society has made it ok to be cruel, but different people have different levels of tolerance and when someone rebels because it went too far, the results can be tragic for everyone concerned. And the biggest tradgedy of all is that every child who has died as a result of a school shooting, including the ones who did the shooting, was a life worth saving. They were all kids, and as a society we failed them all.
Reply:Two things. Guns and messed-up teenage boys.
Reply:If i knew the answer to that i would be a very rich man. The only people who know what the reasons were are the low life pond scum that carried out the massacre. To guess at the reasons or even to converse about it is giving the bastards the publicity that i am sure they thrive on.
Reply:The true reason behind the Columbine tragedy is that parents were not monitering their children closely enough. The two shooters parents to be exact. The parents should KNOW if their kids are psycho enough to do something this crazy and have gotten them help long before this happened. Parents too busy to watch their own kids because they want to work so much and have lots of money instead of happy and secure children.
